Hadith 6:52
Uqbah ibn Khalid narrated to us, from Musa and Muhammad ibn Ibrahim, from his father, from Abu Sa'id, who said: The Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "When you visit the sick, then comfort him regarding his appointed time (lifespan), for that does not avert anything, but it cheers the soul of the sick person."
حدثنا عقبة بن خالد عن موسى ومحمد بن إبراهيم عن أبيه عن أبي سعيد قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم إذا دخلتم على المريض فنفسوا له في الأجل فإن ذلك لا يرد شيئا وهو يطيب نفس المريض
