Hadith 6:545
Waki’ and ‘Ali ibn Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from ‘Ata’, from Jabir, that the Messenger of Allah (peace be upon him) said: "I have been forbidden from a voice at the time of a calamity, the scratching of faces, the tearing of collars, and the wailing of Satan."
حدثنا وكيع وعلي بن هاشم عن بن أبي ليلى عن عطاء عن جابر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قال نهيت عن صوت عند مصيبة وخمش وجوه وشق جيوب ورنة شيطان
