Hadith 6:547
Waki’ ibn al-Jarrah narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Hilal ibn Khabbab, from Abu al-Bakhtari, who said: "Providing food for the deceased is from the affairs of the Jahiliyyah (pre-Islamic ignorance), and wailing is from the affairs of the Jahiliyyah."
