Al-Fadl ibn Dukayn narrated to us, he said: Al-Bara’ ibn Yazid narrated to us. He said: I saw al-Sha’bi at a funeral, and I saw him walking behind it, and he did not carry it, and he did not touch its wooden frame until it was placed on the edge of the grave. Then he moved aside and sat down, and he was an old man.
