Hadith 6:560
Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Mansur, from Abdullah ibn Abd al-Rahman ibn Abza, who said: Ali used to say in the prayer over the deceased: "O Allah, forgive our living and our dead, and reconcile our hearts, and rectify the matters between us, and place our hearts upon the hearts of our best ones. O Allah, forgive him. O Allah, have mercy upon him. O Allah, return him to a state better than that which he was in. O Allah, [grant us] Your pardon."
حدثنا أبو الأحوص عن منصور عن عبد الله بن عبد الرحمن بن أبزي قال كان علي يقول في الصلاة على الميت اللهم اغفر لأحيائنا وأمواتنا وألف بين قلوبنا وأصلح ذات بيننا واجعل قلوبنا على قلوب خيارنا اللهم اغفر له اللهم وارحمه ( ( ( ارحمه ) ) ) اللهم أرجعه إلى خير مما كان فيه اللهم عفوك
