Hadith 6:564
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Zayd al-'Ammi, from Abu al-Siddiq al-Naji, who said: I asked Abu Sa'id about the prayer over the funeral. He said: We used to say: "O Allah, You are our Lord and his Lord; You created him, provided for him, gave him life, and sufficed him. So forgive us and him, do not deprive us of his reward, and do not lead us astray after him."
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن زيد العمي عن أبي الصديق الناجي قال سألت أبا سعيد عن الصلاة على الجنازة قال فكنا نقول اللهم أنت ربنا وربه خلقته ورزقته وأحييته وكفيته فاغفر لنا وله ولا تحرمنا أجره ولا تضلنا بعده
