Hadith 6:599
11398. Abd al-A’la narrated to us, from Burayd, from Makhul, that he used to recite in the first two takbirs of the prayer over the deceased the Opening of the Book (al-Fatiha). And if they gave him time to supplicate in it, he would supplicate.
حدثنا عبد الأعلى عن برد عن مكحول أنه كان يقرأ في التكبيرتين الأوليين في الصلاة على الميت بفاتحة الكتاب وان امهلوه أن يدعو فيها دعا ( ( ( دعاء ) ) )
