Hadith 6:610
Hafs ibn Ghiyath narrated to us, from Hajjaj, who said: I asked Ata’ about reciting [the Quran] over the funeral. He said: We have not heard of this.
حدثنا حفص بن غياث عن حجاج قال سألت عطاء عن القراءة على الجنازة فقال ما سمعنا بهذا
