Hadith 6:612
Waki’ narrated to us, from Zam’ah, from Ibn Tawus, from his father and ‘Ata’, that they both used to disapprove of reciting [the Quran] over the funeral.
حدثنا وكيع عن زمعة عن بن طاوس عن أبيه وعطاء أنهما كانا ينكران القراءة على الجنازة
