Hadith 6:641
Abu Mu'awiyah narrated to us, from al-Hajari, who said: I prayed with Abdullah ibn Abi Awfa over a funeral. He performed four takbirs over it, then he stood for a little while until I thought he was going to perform a fifth takbir, then he performed the taslim. He then said: "Did you think that I was going to perform a fifth takbir? I only stood as I saw the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) stand."
حدثنا أبو معاوية عن الهجري قال صليت مع عبد الله بن أبي أوفى على جنازة فكبر عليها أربعا ثم قام هنيهة حتى ظننت أنه يكبر خمسا ثم سلم فقال أكنتم ترون أني أكبر خمسا إنما قمت كما رأيت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم قام
