Musannaf Ibn Abi Shayba 6:73

Muhammad ibn Abi ‘Adi narrated to us, from Ash’ath, from al-Hasan, who said: He used to like—or he used to consider it recommended—that the deceased be faced toward the Qibla when he is in the state of death.
