Hadith 6:755
Isma'il ibn 'Ayyash narrated to us, from 'Amr ibn Muhajir, who said: I prayed with Wathila ibn al-Asqa' over sixty funerals from the plague, men and women. He placed them in two rows, with the row of women in front of the men. The head of the woman's bier was at the feet of her companion, and the head of the man's bier was at the feet of the bier of his companion.
