Hadith 6:770
Sharik narrated to us, from Abu Ishaq, from Ali, who said: If the funerals of men and women are gathered together, the men are placed closest to the Imam, and the women are placed closest to the Qibla. As for the free person and the slave, the free person is placed closest to the Imam, and the slave is placed closest to the Qibla.
