Hadith 6:774
Ja'far ibn 'Awn narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from Sulayman ibn Musa, from Wathilah, who said: The plague occurred in Ash-Sham, and many people died in it. He would perform the funeral prayer over the men and women together, placing the men on the side closest to him and the women on the side closest to the Qibla.
حدثنا جعفر بن عون عن بن جريج عن سليمان بن موسى عن واثلة قال وقع الطاعون بالشام فمات فيه بشر كثير فكان يصلي على الرجال والنساء جميعا يجعل الرجال مما يليه والنساء مما يلي القبلة
