Hadith 6:800
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, who said: Abu Jallas al-Shami narrated to us, saying: I heard Uthman ibn Jahsh say: I heard Samurah ibn Jundub, and a young son of his had died, so he said: "Take him and bury him, and do not pray over him, for there is no sin upon him. And supplicate to Allah for his parents that He may make him a precursor and a reward for them," and the like of it.
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة قال حدثنا أبو جلاس الشامي قال سمعت عثمان بن جحاش قال سمعت سمرة بن جندب ومات بن له صغيرا فقال اذهبوا به فادفنوه ولا يصلي عليه فإنه ليس عليه إثم وادعوا الله لوالديه أن يجعله لهما فرطا واجرا نحوه ( ( ( ونحوه ) ) )
