Hadith 6:804
Asbat ibn Muhammad narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from Abu al-Zubayr, from Jabir, who said: If [the child] cries out [at birth], the funeral prayer is performed for him and he inherits. If he does not cry out, the funeral prayer is not performed for him and he does not inherit.
حدثنا اسباط بن محمد عن أشعث عن أبي الزبير عن جابر قال إذا استهل صلي عليه وورث فإذا لم يستهل لم يصل عليه ولم يورث
