Hadith 6:816
Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Ya'la ibn 'Ata, who said: I heard al-Walid ibn 'Abd al-Rahman narrating from Abu Hurayrah, from the Prophet (peace be upon him), who said: "Whoever prays over a funeral, for him is a qirat. If he witnesses its burial, then for him are two qirats. The qirat is like Mount Uhud." Ibn 'Umar said: "Look at what you are saying." So they sent to 'Aishah, and she said: "He spoke the truth."
حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن يعلى بن عطاء قال سمعت الوليد بن عبد الرحمن يحدث عن أبي هريرة عن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم قال من صلى على جنازة فله قيراط فإن شهد دفنها كان له قيراطان القيراط مثل جبل أحد قال بن عمر انظر ما تقول قال فبعثوا إلى عائشة فقالت صدق
