Hadith 6:956
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, who said: A *lahd* (niche) was made for the Messenger of Allah, may Allah bless him and grant him peace. And Shaqran was placed into his grave—a velvet cloth that he used to ride upon during his lifetime.
