Hadith 8:1046
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Bukayr ibn ‘Ata, from ‘Abd al-Rahman ibn Ya’mar (Hilal), he said: I heard him saying: I heard the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) while he was standing at ‘Arafah, and some people from the people of Mecca came to him and said: "O Messenger of Allah, how is the Hajj?" He said: "The Hajj is ‘Arafah. Whoever comes before the break of dawn on the night of Jam’ (Muzdalifah), his Hajj is complete. Mina is three days; whoever hastens in two days, there is no sin upon him, and whoever delays, there is no sin upon him." Then he had a man ride behind him, calling out these words.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن بكير بن عطاء عن عبد الرحمن بن يعمر ( ( ( هلال ) ) ) قال سمعته يقول سمعت رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم وهو واقف بعرفة وأتاه أناس من أهل مكة فقالوا يا رسول الله كيف الحج قال الحج عرفة فمن جاء قبل طلوع الفجر ليلة جمع فقد تم حجه منى ثلاثة أيام فمن تعجل في يومين فلا إثم عليه ومن تأخر فلا إثم عليه ثم اردف رجلا خلفه يناديهن
