Hadith 8:1048
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ali bin Hashim narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Ata, that the Prophet of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) said: "Whoever does not catch [the Hajj], then upon him is a sacrificial animal (dam), and he shall make it an Umrah, and upon him is the Hajj in the following year."
