Hadith 8:1051
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yahya bin Sa'id narrated to us, from Hanzala, from al-Qasim, regarding the one who misses the Hajj: He said: He shall make it an 'Umrah, and upon him is the Hajj from the following year, and he shall offer a sacrificial animal (hady). If he does not find [the means for the sacrifice], he shall fast three days during the Hajj and seven when he returns.
