Hadith 8:109
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from ‘Amr, from al-Hasan, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) entered into ihram after the Dhuhr prayer. And al-Hasan used to consider it recommended to enter into ihram after the Dhuhr prayer. If he did not do so, then after the ‘Asr prayer.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا حفص عن عمرو عن الحسن أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أحرم دبر صلاة الظهر وكان الحسن يستحب أن يحرم دبر الظهر فإن لم يفعل ففي دبر صلاة العصر
