Hadith 8:114
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Fudayl narrated to us, from Abd al-Malik, he said: I asked Ata’ about the *talbiyah* when a man intends to enter into *ihram*. He said: If you wish, then say it after the prayer, and if you wish, then when the she-camel carries you when you mount it, and you say: "Exalted is He who has subjected this to us, and we could not have [otherwise] subdued it."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال ثنا بن فضيل عن عبد الملك قال سألت عطاء عن التلبية إذا أراد الرجل أن يحرم قال إن شئت فضي دبر الصلاة وإن شئت فإذا سعت بك الناقة حين تركب فتقول سبحان الذي سخر لنا هذا وما كنا له مقرنين
