Hadith 8:1181
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Zayd ibn Humayd, he said: A man asked Ibn Umar, "What is your opinion regarding a sacrificial camel (badana)? Should I slaughter a camel in its place?" He said: "I have not seen anyone do that, and for me to slaughter a female (camel) is more beloved to me."
