Hadith 8:1200
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Mu'tamir narrated to us, from Layth, from Tawus, who said: The sick person may have [the ritual of] throwing [pebbles] performed on his behalf, and [the ritual of] circumambulation (tawaf) performed on his behalf.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا معتمر عن ليث عن طاوس قال المريض يرمى عنه ويطاف عنه
