Hadith 8:1208
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Hisham al-Dastawa’i, from Qatadah, from Abu Hassan, from Ibn Abbas, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) marked the sacrificial animal (*hady*) on the right side of the hump and wiped the blood away from it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن هشام الدستوائي عن قتادة عن أبي حسان عن بن عباس أن النبي صلى الله عليه وسلم أشعر الهدي في السنام الأيمن وأماط عنه الدم
