Hadith 8:1217
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ghundar narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from Mughirah, from al-Sha'bi, who said: There were people from the people of Yemen who, when they performed Hajj, would not take provisions with them until they reached such and such a mountain pass. Then, "And take provisions, but indeed, the best provision is fear of Allah" was revealed.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا غندر عن شعبة عن مغيرة عن الشعبي قال كان ناس من أهل اليمن إذا حجوا لم يتزودوا حتى يبلغوا عقبه كذا وكذا فنزلت @QB@ وتزودوا فإن خير الزاد التقوى @QE@
