Hadith 8:1269
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Khalid al-Ahmar narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, who said: I asked 'Ata' about the pebbles for the stoning of the Jamarat. He said: "It used to be said: 'Pebbles between the two pebbles.'" He said: I said: "What is it?" He said: "The pebbles with which one throws."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو خالد الأحمر عن بن جريج قال سألت عطاء عن حصى رمي الجمار قال كان يقال حصى بين الحصاتين قال قلت ما هو قال حصى الذي يخذف به
