Hadith 8:1302
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abdullah ibn Numayr narrated to us, he said: Ubaydullah narrated to us, from Nafi’, from Ibn Umar, that the Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) used to trot in the bottom of the valley when he performed the circumambulation (Sa'i) between al-Safa and al-Marwah. And Ibn Umar used to do that.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد الله بن نمير قال حدثنا عبيد الله عن نافع عن بن عمر أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يسعى في بطن المسيل إذا طاف بين الصفا والمروة وكان بن عمر يفعل ذلك
