Hadith 8:1335
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Sufyan, from Ibn Jurayj, from al-Zuhri, that the Messenger of Allah (may Allah bless him and grant him peace) was delivering the sermon on the Day of Sacrifice (Yawm al-Nahr). The commanders overcame [the situation], so they delayed it until the following day.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن سفيان عن بن جريج عن الزهري أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يخطب يوم النحر فتغلب الإمراء فأخروه إلى الغد
