Hadith 8:1394
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Bakr bin Ayyash narrated to us, from Yahya bin Sa’id, who said: Umar bin Abdul Aziz was standing at Arafat, and he said: "O people, you have come from near and far, and you are the delegation of the One, the Unique. The one who is ahead is not the one whose beast or camel arrives first; rather, the one who is ahead is the one whose sins Allah has forgiven." A man called out to him: "Where should I pray the Maghrib prayer?" He replied: "Wherever you reach in this valley of yours."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو بكر بن عياش عن يحيى بن سعيد قال كان عمر بن عبد العزيز واقفا بعرفة فقال يا أيها الناس قد جئتم من القريب والبعيد وإنكم وفد غير واحد وإن السابق ليس الذي تسبق دابته ولا بعيره وإن السابق من غفر الله له ذنبه فناداه رجل اين اصلي المغرب قال أين أدركت من واديك هذا
