Hadith 8:1438
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from Ibn ‘Awn, from Ibn Sirin, who said: He set five miqats for the people: for the people of Medina, Dhu al-Hulayfah; for the people of Mecca, al-Tan‘im; for the people of al-Sham, al-Juhfah; for the people of Yemen, Yalamlam; and for the people of Najd, Qarn—or he said: for the people of Iraq, Qarn. Then, when some time had passed, they said to Ibn ‘Abbas: "We do not have a route through Qarn." He said: "Parallel to it is Dhat ‘Irq."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن بن عون عن بن سيرين قال حد للناس خمسة لأهل المدينة ذا الحليفة ولأهل مكة التنعيم ولأهل الشام الجحفة ولأهل اليمن يلملم ولأهل نجد قرن أو قال لأهل العراق قرن فلما كان بعد قالوا لابن عباس ليس لنا طريق على قرن قال ازاءه ذات عرق
