Hadith 8:1474
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Uyaynah narrated to us, from Ibn Jurayj, from ‘Ata’, that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) granted a concession to the shepherds to shoot at night. And he judged between two orphans, a boy and a girl, so the girl chose her masters, and the boy chose.
حدثنا ( ( ( فقضى ) ) ) أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن ( ( ( جرير ) ) ) عيينة عن بن جريج عن عطاء ( ( ( مغيرة ) ) ) أن النبي ( ( ( خير ) ) ) صلى ( ( ( شريح ) ) ) الله ( ( ( غلاما ) ) ) عليه ( ( ( وجارية ) ) ) وسلم ( ( ( يتيمين ) ) ) رخص ( ( ( فاختارت ) ) ) للرعاء ( ( ( الجارية ) ) ) أن ( ( ( مواليها ) ) ) يرموا ( ( ( واختار ) ) ) ليلا ( ( ( الغلام ) ) )
