Hadith 8:1475
Abu Bakr (Mu'awiyah) narrated to us, he said: Hammad bin Khalid narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Dhi'b, from 'Ata', that 'Umar granted a concession to the shepherds to spend the night away from Mina. He said: So I mentioned that to Ibrahim and to al-Zuhri, and they both said: "The shepherds throw the pebbles at night and do not spend the night [there]."
حدثنا أبو بكر ( ( ( معاوية ) ) ) قال حدثنا حماد بن خالد عن بن أبي ذئب عن عطاء أن عمر رخص للرعاء أن يبيتوا عن منى قال فذكرت ذلك لإبراهيم وللزهري فقالا الرعاء يرمون ليلا ولا يبيتون
