Hadith 8:1514
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hafs narrated to us, from Ibn Abi Layla, from Ibn Abi Najih, from Mujahid, from Ibn Abbas regarding the saying of Allah, the Exalted: "And whoever honors the symbols of Allah, then it is from the piety of hearts." He said: It is in seeking permission, seeking what is good, and showing reverence.
