Hadith 8:1515
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Zayd narrated to us, from Dawud ibn Abi Hind, from Muhammad ibn Abi Musa, who said regarding the saying [of Allah]: "And whoever honors the symbols of Allah, then it is from the piety of hearts." He said: Standing at Arafat is from the symbols of Allah, and Jam' (Muzdalifah) is from the symbols of Allah, and the sacrificial camels are from the symbols of Allah, and the shaving [of the head] is from the symbols of Allah, and the stoning [of the pillars] is from the symbols of Allah. So whoever honors them, then it is from the piety of hearts.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا زيد عن داود بن أبي هند عن محمد بن أبي موسى قال في قوله @QB@ ومن يعظم شعائر الله فإنها من تقوى القلوب @QE@ قال الوقوف بعرفة من شعائر الله وجمع من شعائر الله والبدن من شعائر الله والحلق من شعائر الله والرمي من شعائر الله فمن يعظمها فإنها من تقوى القلوب
