Hadith 8:1555
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir narrated to us, from Mansur, from Ibrahim, who said: Our companions used to perform Hajj while they had with them papers (money) and gold, yet they would not slaughter anything. And they used to leave it, fearing that it would distract them from any of the rites.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا جرير عن منصور عن إبراهيم قال كان أصحابنا يحجون ومعهم الأوراق والذهب فما يذبحون شيئا وكانوا يتركون مخافة أن يشغلهم عن شيء من المناسك
