Hadith 8:1568
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu Usamah narrated to us, from Qays ibn Sa'd, from Mujahid, and from Abu Ma'shar, from Ibrahim; they both said: If one forgets the circumambulation (tawaf) between al-Safa and al-Marwah while he is a pilgrim (hajj), then the Hajj is upon him (i.e., he must complete it). And if he is a performer of Umrah, then the Umrah is upon him, and nothing suffices him except the circumambulation between them.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو أسامة عن قيس بن سعد عن مجاهد وعن أبي معشر عن إبراهيم قالا إذا نسي الطواف بين الصفا والمروة وهو حاج فعليه الحج فإن كان معتمرا فعليه العمرة ولا يجزيه إلا الطواف بينهما
