Hadith 8:1635
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Mahdi narrated to us, from Shu'bah, from al-Hakam and Hammad, they said: I asked them both about gathering on the evening of Arafah, and they said: "It is an innovation (muhdath)."
