Hadith 8:1692
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Hatim ibn Isma'il narrated to us, from Ja'far, from his father, that Ali used to forbid women from wearing the niqab while they were in the state of ihram. However, they should let down the garment over their faces, a letting down.
