Hadith 8:1813
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abu al-Ahwas Salam ibn Sulaym narrated to us, from Layth, from Abd al-Rahman ibn Sabit, he said: The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said: "Whoever dies and has not performed the Hajj of Islam, and he was not prevented by a confining illness, or an apparent need, or a tyrannical ruler, then let him die in whatever state he wishes, whether as a Jew or a Christian."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا أبو الأحوص سلام بن سليم عن ليث عن عبد الرحمن بن سابط قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم من مات ولم يحج حجة الإسلام لم يمنعه مرض حابس أو حاجة ظاهرة أو سلطان جائر فليمت على أي حال شاء يهوديا أو نصرانيا
