Hadith 8:1818
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Waki’ narrated to us, from Shu’bah, from al-Hakam, from ‘Adi ibn ‘Adi, from his father, who said: ‘Umar ibn al-Khattab said: "Whoever dies while he is wealthy and has not performed Hajj, then let him die in whatever state he wishes, whether as a Jew or a Christian."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا وكيع عن شعبة عن الحكم عن عدي بن عدي عن أبيه قال قال عمر بن الخطاب من مات وهو موسر لم يحج فليمت على أي حال شاء يهوديا أو نصرانيا
