Hadith 8:1826
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Jarir and Abu al-Ahwas narrated to us, from Abd al-Aziz ibn Rufay’, from Abd Allah ibn Abi Qatadah, he said: Abu Qatadah was among a group of people who were in the state of ihram, while Abu Qatadah was not in the state of ihram. They saw a wild donkey, so they did not harm it until he saw it. He snatched a whip from one of them and struck it down. They ate from it and carried some of it. Then they met the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, and asked him. He said: "Did any of you signal towards it?" They said: "No." He said: "Then eat."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا جرير وابو الأحوص عن عبد العزيز بن رفيع عن عبد الله بن أبي قتادة قال كان أبو قتادة في نفر محرمين وأبو قتادة محل فرأى أصحابه حمارا وحشيا فلم يؤذوه حتى أبصره فاختلس من بعضهم سوطا فصرعه فأكلوا وحملوا منه فلقوا رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم فسالوه فقال هل أشار إليه أحد منكم قالوا لا قال فكلوا
