Hadith 8:1870
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn ‘Ulayyah narrated to us, from al-‘Abbas ibn ‘Abd Allah, from his father, who said: I went out with my maternal aunt, Maymunah, and I matted my hair with honey or gum, so it became disheveled, and it was difficult for me while I was in the state of ihram. So I asked her, and she said: "Dip your head in water repeatedly."
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا بن علية عن العباس بن عبد الله عن أبيه قال خرجت مع خالتي ميمونة فلبدت رأسي بعسل أو بغرا فتنشر فشق علي وأنا محرم فسألتها فقالت إغمس رأسك في ماء مرارا
