Hadith 8:1897
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Asbat bin Muhammad narrated to us, from Ash'ath, from 'Ata: The woman suffering from prolonged menstrual bleeding (mustahada) sits for the duration of her period that she used to sit, then she uses a pad (ihtasha), performs tawaf of the House, and departs.
