Hadith 8:1924
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Abd al-Salam ibn Harb narrated to us, from Layth, from Mujahid and Tawus, regarding the man who forgets the two rak'ahs that are for the obligatory tawaf. They both said: If he performs the prayer after it, it suffices him. And if he prays in the nearest part of the Haram or the farthest part of it, it suffices him. And if he does not pray until he leaves the Haram, he must shed blood (i.e., offer a sacrifice).
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا عبد السلام بن حرب عن ليث عن مجاهد وطاوس في الرجل ينسى الركعتين اللتين للطواف الواجب قالا إن صلى بعدها صلاة أجزاه ذلك وإن صلى في ادنى الحرم وأقصاه أجزأه وإن لم يصل حتى يخرج من الحرم أهرق دما
