Hadith 8:2065
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Yazid bin Harun narrated to us, he said: Dawud bin Abi Hind informed us, from Muhammad bin Musa, regarding His saying: "And whoever honors the symbols of Allah, indeed it is from the piety of hearts." He said: Standing at Arafat is from the symbols of Allah, and the gathering (at Muzdalifah) is from the symbols of Allah, and the pebbles (at Jamarat) are from the symbols of Allah, and the sacrificial camels are from the symbols of Allah, and the shaving (of the head) is from the symbols of Allah. So whoever honors them, indeed it is from the piety of hearts. He said regarding His saying: "For you therein are benefits for a specified term." He said: For you in every symbol are benefits, that you depart from it to another. So the specified term is the departure from it to another. "Then their place of sacrifice is at the Ancient House." He said: The place of these symbols, all of them, is the circumambulation (Tawaf) of the House.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا يزيد بن هارون قال أخبرنا داود بن أبي هند عن محمد بن موسى في قوله @QB@ ومن يعظم شعائر الله فإنها من تقوى القلوب @QE@ 2 قال الوقوف بعرفة من شعائر الله والجمع من شعائر الله والجمار من شعائر الله والبدن من شعائر الله والحلق من شعائر الله فمن يعظمها فإنها من تقوى القلوب قال في قوله @QB@ لكم فيها منافع إلى أجل مسمى @QE@ 3 قال لكم في كل مشعر منافع أن تخرجوا منه إلى غيره فالأجل المسمى الخروج منه إلى غيره @QB@ ثم محلها إلى البيت العتيق @QE@ 4 قال محل هذه الشعائر كلها الطواف بالبيت
