Hadith 8:2083
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Fudayl ibn 'Iyad narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, regarding the woman who has not performed Hajj. He said: She seeks permission from her husband. If he gives her permission, then that is more beloved to me. And if he does not give her permission, she goes out with a mahram (unmarriageable male relative), for that is an obligation from the obligations of Allah; he has no authority over her regarding it.
حدثنا أبو بكر قال حدثنا فضيل بن عياض عن هشام عن الحسن في المرأة التي لم تحج قال تستأذن زوجها فإذا أذن لها فذاك أحب إلي وإن لم يأذن لها خرجت مع ذي محرم فإن ذلك فريضة من فرائض الله ليس له عليها فيها طاعة
