Hadith 8:2095
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Salam narrated to us, from Mughira, from Ibrahim, who said: Al-Aswad used to have his riding beast carry his provisions. When he committed a violation (during Ihram), he would slaughter an animal (as an expiation). And when he wanted to mount (his beast), he would say: "O Allah, a Hajj if it is made easy, and if not, an Umrah if it is made easy." Then he would recite the Talbiyah for Hajj.
