Hadith 8:2111
Abu Bakr narrated to us, he said: Ibn Idris narrated to us, from Hisham, from al-Hasan, regarding a man who performs Hajj on behalf of a man and has [money] left over: He said: He informs them, and if they accept it [as a gift], then [it is fine], otherwise he returns it.
